What it is
The Extended Chiropractic Treatment is built for cases that need more than a standard follow-up can accommodate — multi-region concerns, complex movement issues, or sessions where adjunctive techniques like Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy (IASTM), cupping, or therapeutic taping are clinically appropriate.
It is not a more aggressive treatment — it is a more spacious one. The added time allows for the same evidence-informed care delivered without compromise.
What’s included
- Comprehensive reassessment of multi-area concerns.
- Manual chiropractic adjustments where indicated.
- Soft-tissue therapy and mobilization.
- Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy (IASTM) where clinically appropriate.
- Cupping or therapeutic taping where indicated.
- Movement-based strategies and home recommendations.
Who it’s for
Patients with multi-region concerns (for example, low back and shoulder, neck and hip), athletes preparing for or recovering from significant load, post-injury cases requiring more thorough care, or anyone whose case has plateaued with standard follow-up sessions.
Many patients alternate Extended sessions with standard Chiropractic Treatments depending on what their week is asking for.
More time is sometimes the most evidence-informed thing a session can offer.
What patients say
The extended session was the difference between treating symptoms and actually addressing the underlying movement issue.
Adding cupping and IASTM into the same session changed how I recovered between training blocks.
