What it is
The Re-examination is a focused update on your case. It begins with a conversation about what has changed since your last visit — new injuries, life changes, current goals — followed by a targeted physical and functional examination relevant to what brought you back in.
From there, your treatment is delivered the same day. The session has more time built in than a standard follow-up, allowing for both the reassessment and meaningful hands-on care without rushing either.
What’s included
- Updated health history and conversation about new concerns.
- Focused physical and functional re-examination.
- Discussion of findings and any updates to your care plan.
- Chiropractic treatment — adjustments, soft-tissue therapy, and movement strategies.
- Recommendations for follow-up frequency.
Who it’s for
Anyone who has been a patient of Dr. Slater previously and is returning after six months or more — whether you simply have not needed care for a while, are presenting with a new concern, or are restarting after a break.
If you have never been a patient of the practice before, the New Patient Examination is the right starting point.
Coming back is rarely about starting over — it is about meeting your body where it is now.
What patients say
Coming back after a year, the visit felt entirely current — Dr. Slater built on what we’d done before but treated me like the person I am today.
I appreciated the time given to actually re-examine, not just assume my old patterns still applied.
